Clever, literate, poignant, playful, above all else, energetic! Mr. Physics, the Cornell University based rock trio, known for great hooks and harmonies, delivers ALERNATIVE ROCK at it's eclectic best. Their music blends alternative rock and traditional rock guitar riffs, with punk and jazz-rock rhythms, with the well crafted lyrics of contemporary folk.

Their new release, "Numerology", features some of the bands more playful moments, such as their theme song, "Mr. Physics", as well as a whacked out electrified drum composition entitled "E on V", and the parody of late night infomercials, "Humpback Whale". More serious compositions, like "Faith", "Numerology" and "Always In Anger" explore relationship issues like trust, fidelity, and loss in very diverse musical styles and with great sensitivity. The folksy ballad "Following Rules" challenges listeners to pay attention to the things that add meaning and authenticity to ones life.

This off-beat collection of former science majors doesn't always take themselves too seriously, but their fans do.
